Quitando el polvo a la aguja…
Soul, hip-hop, reggae and electro from the Manche.
A volunteer association runs it out of Granville, on the Cotentin coast, and the promise is plain enough: good raw sound for Normans and anyone who sympathises with them, with no advertising on air at any point. What pays for that is listener donations and a handful of local businesses — an electrician, a biodegradable-mail outfit, a regional cola — thanked as the people who make it possible to have none. The stated ambition is to be radio number fifty in département 50.
Soul, hip-hop, reggae and electro make up most of it, with the rough end preferred to the polished one. Groovy time takes the microphone live across the end of the week, from early evening deep into the night, and the rest of the week runs on rotation. They will also build a private playlist for your bar, wedding or, in their own example, rastafarian dog shelter.
