Rock

Rock radio where the demo tape still gets a play, right next to records that have been on air for fifty years.

You can hear a band play live in a college studio in Austin, then cross to a Banja Luka stream that hasn't said a word between songs in years. Students and volunteers run most of it, and in Copenhagen and Lisbon the public broadcaster pays for the noise. The guitars go from sixties garage and post-punk to shoegaze and goth, and wander as far as Balinese indie and the Brazilian psych B-sides that never got radio play the first time round.
